Privacy Policy

Subskills helps people discover and save sport learning resources. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.

Data We Store On Your Device

The mobile app stores saved-resource IDs, saved-resource snapshots, completion flags, and local voting flags on your device so the Library can work after a cold start without network access. This local data stays on your device unless you remove the app or clear app data.

Account And Contribution Data

If contribution or moderation features are enabled, Subskills may use Supabase authentication to identify contributors and store submitted links, skill suggestions, moderation decisions, display names, and contribution history.

Network Data

The app requests public catalog data from Subskills services, including categories, skills, links, vote counts, thumbnails, and contributor summaries. Opening a resource link leaves the app and is governed by the destination site's privacy policy.

Analytics And Tracking

The current mobile app does not include third-party advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking. If analytics are added later, this policy should be updated before release.

Children's Privacy

Subskills is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit personal information if you are under 13.

Data Deletion

You can remove local saved data by unsaving resources or deleting the app. For server-side contribution data, open a request through the project issue tracker.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app changes. The updated policy will include a new "Last updated" date.
