  • Use blocks, blankets, or straps to bring the floor or your leg within comfortable reach.

Common mistakes

  • Forcing depth by pushing, pulling, or muscling into a pose instead of relaxing and letting gravity ease you in. Many push through held breath or sharp, painful sensation instead of treating that as the cue to back off.
